A PROJECT GENERATOR - FOCUSED ON ANTIMONY, TUNGSTEN AND GOLD

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - February 12, 2013 - GREAT ATLANTIC RESOURCES CORP. (TSXV.GR) is pleased to announce that it has employed CARDS (Computer Aided Resource Detection System) technology, to further define potential Tungsten exploration targets on its South Quarry property in Newfoundland. This technology was developed by DIAGNOS Inc. ("DIAGNOS") (TSX Venture: ADK), a leader in the use of artificial intelligence and advanced knowledge-extraction techniques

"For the first time, CARDS will be used for a Tungsten project. Since we consider that Tungsten has a good geophysical response, we are pretty confident to provide significant targets reducing their exploration area by more than 95%", declared Mr Michel Fontaine, Vice-President - Business Development at DIAGNOS.

The South Quarry Tungsten showing is located in a rock quarry on the east side of the Baie d'Espoir Highway, approximately 7 km south of Berry Hill Pond, Central Newfoundland. The mineralization occurs in leucocratic granite veins hosted by metagreywacke and limestone of the Davidsville Group. This showing consists of a swarm of scheelite-bearing veins covering an area of at least 200 m by 300 m. Where veins have been exposed by stripping, a 200 m long cross section of the vein swarm revealed veins up to 1.5 m wide and grading 0.3 to 0.4 % WO3. Associated with this occurrence is the stratiform Camp Ten tungsten showing where bedded scheelite occurs within limestone and calcareous sandstone horizons that dip toward the possible source of the mineralization - the Middle Ridge Granite.

DIAGNOS will assist Great Atlantic Resources Corp. in identifying Tungsten targets by using its CARDS technology, which makes possible the identification of sites having the same signature as known mineralized occurrences. DIAGNOS uses its proprietary technology to analyze geological, geophysical and geochemical to enable the identification of patterns hidden in the large amount of data each customer owns.

DIAGNOS has assembled a high level team of scientists with masters and PhDs in artificial intelligence, mathematics, imaging, geology and geophysics and a management team to support its customer in mining exploration.

Patrick Forseille, P. Geo., a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101 is responsible for the technical information contained in this release.

Options announced

The Company also announces that it has granted 100,000 options to consultants at a price of $0.15 for a period of two years.
