Duane Parnham acquires shares of Giyani Gold Corp.

OAKVILLE, ON, March 12, 2013 /CNW/ - Duane Parnham has acquired, in the aggregate, 5,541,907 common shares (the "Shares") in the capital of Giyani Gold Corp. ("Giyani" or the "Company"). Subsequent to the filing of Mr. Parnham's early warning report dated September 28, 2012, and as a result of treasury issuances of shares by the Company on October 26, 2012, Mr. Parnham's percentage ownership of outstanding shares of the Company decreased to 9.52%. As a result of a series of acquisitions from September 28, 2012 to March 8, 2013 an additional 523,484 common shares were acquired, increasing Mr. Parnham's percentage ownership of outstanding shares of the Company from 9.52% to 10.22%. The additional Shares were acquired on the open market through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange at an average purchase price of $0.88 per common share.Mr. Parnham acquired the Shares for investment purposes, and may acquire additional Giyani securities in the future or dispose of his existing Giyani common shares on the basis of his assessment of market conditions and in compliance with all applicable securities regulatory requirements.
