NICOSIA, 04/04/13 - EMED Mining Public Limited (AIM: EME) (TSX: EMD). On 25 March 2013, EMED Mining announced that it had agreed to vary the terms of certain option agreements to extend the final exercise date to a date not exceeding 10 business days following the Company ceasing to be in a close period. EMED is pleased to report that it has beennotified by the directors listed below of their current intention to exercise the options held by them (or their associated companies) under the amended agreements once the Company is no longer in a close period under the AIM Rules for Companies and to retain the resulting ordinary shares following exercise. Details of the relevant directors and theoptions in which they are interested are set out below:
