VANCOUVER, April 5, 2013 - Tanzania Minerals Corp. (the "Company" or "Tanzania") (TSX-V: TZM) (FRANKFURT: TM0) announces that John Knowles has resigned from the board of directors, effective April 4, 2013 in order to concentrate on his other business interests. Mr. Knowles has served as a director since March 2011.Kal Matharu, President & CEO of TZM commented "I would like to thank John for his input and guidance during his tenure as a member of the Board of Directors. John continues to be a supporter of TZM and its projects, and will act in an advisory role going forward."
