TORONTO, Jan. 29, 2013 - Superior Copper Corporation (TSX VENTURE:SPC) ("Superior" or the "Company") announces that it has granted an aggregate of 2,000,000 options to purchase common shares exercisable at a price of $0.10 per share for a period of five years to officers, employees and consultants. Certain common shares issuable upon exercise of the options are subject to a four month hold period from the original date of grant. The options have been granted in accordance with the terms of Superior's stock option plan and the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.Superior Copper Corporation
