Karnalyte Resources announces Environmental Impact Study public review period for Wynyard Carnallite Project
"The Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment has completed its technical review of the Project's Environmental Impact Statement and is proceeding to the public review stage of the approval process," said Robin Phinney, President and CEO of Karnalyte. "The public review of the EIS is the next step in the process to obtain Project approval so this is an important development for the Corporation."
Karnalyte submitted a revised EIS to the Saskatchewan MOE on September 25, 2012. Once the MOE sets the date for the start of the public review period, the notice will appear in newspapers and on the MOE website. The EIS and technical review comments will be available for public review for a period of 30 days.
