Sentient CEO, Andrew Pullar Joins Pershimco's Team

ROUYN-NORANDA, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 05/28/13 -- Pershimco Resources Inc. (the "Company" or "Pershimco") (TSX VENTURE: PRO)(FRANKFURT: BIZ) is proud to welcome to its team Andrew Pullar, Chief Executive Officer of The Sentient Group, an independent private equity investment firm specializing in the global resources industry. Effective immediately, Andrew, a mining engineer, will join the Company's Board of Directors, replacing Mr. Paul-Henri Couture.

Andrew holds a degree in Mining Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, as well as a South African Mine Managers Certificate and a UK Society of Investment Professionals, Investment Manager Certificate. He is also a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

Prior to joining Sentient in 2009, Andrew worked as Portfolio Manager for Baker Steel Capital Managers in London and Sydney. There he gained wide-ranging experience investing in the natural resource sector through his direct responsibility for the group's gold and precious metal funds. Prior to this, Andrew was a senior metals and mining analyst with AME Mineral Economics in Sydney. He has also worked in London and Sydney as a mining engineering consultant and has fulfilled various mining engineering and production roles at De Beers and Gold Fields in South Africa.
