Alpha Establishes Advisory Board to Enhance Corporate Depth as Patterson Lake South Discovery Advances
Mr. Roy has more than 30 years of experience in uranium exploration with Cameco Corporation, one of the world's largest uranium producers. Most recently as Director of Exploration Agreements, Regional Director for the Americas, and Director of Advanced Exploration, he has been directly involved in the supervision of seven discoveries for Cameco. Mr. Roy provides Alpha with invaluable industry-leading expertise towards advancing the Patterson Lake discovery, and evaluating new opportunities. Mr. Roy will be the lead technical advisor to the Board of Directors at Alpha Minerals.
Mr. Graham brings to Alpha extensive expertise in the down-stream nuclear fuel cycle and regulatory sectors. He was appointed as a member of the former Atomic Energy Control Board in 1999, and subsequently was appointed a member of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC), where he served as a commissioner for twelve years. Mr. Graham is a former Minister of Natural Resources and Energy and served as Deputy Premier for the Province of New Brunswick, and served as an MLA for that Province from 1967 until 1998. Mr. Graham was involved in the permitting and oversight of nearly all of the producing uranium mines in the Athabasca Basin.
