S&P Dow Jones Indices Announces Changes to the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices

A Deletion from the S&P/TSX Global Mining, Global Gold and SmallCap IndicesTORONTO, July 25, 2013 /CNW/ - S&P Dow Jones Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices:
The shareholders of Rainy River Resources Ltd. (TSX:RR) have accepted a takeover bid from New Gold Inc. (TSX:NGD). Rainy River shareholders will receive either one-half share of New Gold or $CDN3.83 cash for each share held. Rainy River will be removed from the S&P/TSX Global Mining, Global Gold and SmallCap Indices after the close of trading on Wednesday, July 31, 2013.
