Vladimir Zhukov was born on November 24, 1973 in Moscow.
In 1995, he graduated from Plekhanov's Russian Economic Academy, Master in Economics/IT.
In 1999, he received PhD from the University of Nottingham Business School (UK).
Before joining Norilsk Nickel, Vladimir Zhukov was metals and mining analyst and the Head of Russian equity research department of HSBC in Russia.
From 2007 to 2011, Mr. Zhukov was metals and mining analyst at Lehman Brothers/Nomura, and from 2005 to 2007 at Alfa-bank in Russia.
From 2001 to 2005, Mr. Zhukov worked in the Investor Relations Department of Norilsk Nickel.
From 1999 to 2001, Mr Zhukov was investment banking analyst at Credit Suisse in New York (US).
