Sydney, Australia - Sovereign Gold Company Ltd. (ASX:SOC) announce that drill hole GHD006 is testing the strike length of Hobbs Pipe 1 toward the WNW (inclined to 82deg).GHD006 commenced on 26 August 2013 and reached ~613m this morning. Visible mineralisation has been observed from surface.
The strike extent to the ESE will be tested later (GHD007).

3D IP Geophysical Survey

The 3D IP Survey is planned to commence within the fortnight and will consist of 7 arrays over an area of approximately 2 km x 800m.
Induced polarisation surveys are an electrical geophysical survey utilised primarily for the detection and mapping of disseminated sulphide bodies. The data is collected from multiple points and inverted into a high resolution 3D model.
A validation of the multi-pipe concept is planned to follow the 3D IP survey.
