TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired - Sept. 5, 2013) - Uranium Participation Corporation ("UPC") (TSX:U) reports its estimated net asset value at August 31, 2013 was CAD$526.7 million or CAD$4.95 per share. As at August 31, 2013, UPC's investment portfolio consisted as follows:

At August 31, 2013, UPC has commitments to sell the conversion component of 120,759 KgU as UF6 for delivery in September 2013, and the conversion component of 100,000 KgU as UF6 for delivery in January 2014. To facilitate the sale of the conversion components, UPC will transfer 220,759 KgU as UF6 to the buyers and receive 576,811 pounds of U3O8 and consideration of US$2,117,000 (CAD$2,234,000).
