VANCOUVER, Sept. 17, 2013 - PMI Gold Corporation (TSX:PMV) (ASX:PVM) ("PMI" or the "Company") today announced the appointment of Peter Bradford, currently a non-executive director of the Company, as President and CEO with immediate effect. This appointment follows the resignation of Collin Ellison, the current CEO of PMI.PMI Chairman, Jim Askew, said "Peter's assumption of the CEO role brings to PMI decades of international experience in project management and company leadership, as well as significant experience in Ghana over the last twenty years. His transition from a directorial role to an executive role ensures the Company will transition smoothly through this leadership change."
