VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Sep 20, 2013) - Silvercorp Metals Inc. ("Silvercorp" or the "Company") (TSX:SVM) (NYSE:SVM) is pleased to report that all matters placed before the shareholders at its Annual General Meeting held today, Friday, September 20, 2013, were approved. The voting report of the Annual General Meeting is available for review on SEDAR.

Reminder of Fiscal Year 2014 Second Quarter Dividend

The Company will pay its Fiscal Year 2014 second quarter dividend of CAD$0.025 per share on October 21, 2013 to shareholders of record at the close of business on September 30, 2013. The declaration and amount of any future dividends will remain at the discretion of the Board of Directors. The dividends are considered eligible dividends for Canadian tax purposes.
