(TSX:SAM) - The company is very pleased to report that Major Drilling de Mexico S.A. de C.V. has arrived on site and has begun a 5,000 meter phase 1 surface drilling program. This program is separate from the continuing underground exploration and development within the San Martin mine. The mine operates three underground drill rigs to provide information to assist with mine planning in addition to exploration, with the intent of increasing the reserves and resources on the property.
The surface drill program for 2013 is designed to test geological/geophysical targets in proximity to the existing underground infrastructure and thus provide important geological data peripheral to the known deposits.
