Glen Eagle Resources Inc. (Montreal, QC, 17 October 2013; TSX VENTURE EXCHANGE: GER) ("Glen Eagle" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that Sand Gold SA, a wholly owned subsidiary of Glen Eagle, hosts a 43-101 compliant Inferred resource estimate of 64,793 tonnes of tailings grading 5.07 g/t gold, 11.86 g/t silver, and 12.57 g/t mercury for a total of 10, 561 oz gold, 24,706 oz silver and 26,185 oz mercury in 32 piles of gold-agglomeration tailings at the La Libertad/Santo Domingo Tailings Project, Chontales, Nicaragua.
The resource estimate is based on 94 auger drill holes recently completed at the La Libertad/Santo Domingo Tailings Project. A large number of tailings piles in the vicinity of Sand Gold's concession were not drilled and could likely contain a substantial amount of additional resources.
The Company will have its 43-101 Report filed on Sedar shortly for full disclosure.
