Lakewood, Colorado, October 22, 2013 – Taranis Resources Inc. ("Taranis") (TSX.V: TRO) announces the closing of the $500,000 private placement announced September 10, 2013. This private placement consisted of the sale of 5,000,000 units at a price of $0.10 per unit, each unit consisting of one common share and one share purchase warrant, with each warrant entitling the holder to purchase one additional common share at a price of $0.15 until October 22, 2015. All of the securities issued pursuant to this private placement are subject to a hold period in Canada until February 23, 2014.About Taranis Resources Inc.
