Golden Band Resources holds 2013 Annual General Meeting

SASKATOON, Nov. 1, 2013 /CNW/ - Golden Band Resources Inc. ("Golden Band" or the "Company") (TSX.V-GBN; OTCQX-GBRIF) is pleased to announce that its Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Shareholders was held on October 29, 2013. Business conducted at the AGM included the election of Ronald Netolitzky, Paul Saxton, Edward Yurkowski, James Dales, Ronald Coombes, and Russell Roberts as the Company's board of directors.

PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP was voted as the Company's external auditor and the Shareholders approved by ordinary resolution, the Company's stock option plan in accordance with TSX Venture Exchange policy.

A presentation of the operational, corporate, and exploration activities was given by management, a copy of which will be available on the Company's website.
