$1,000,000 Private Placement with Capstone Mining Corp Closes

VANCOUVER, Oct. 31, 2012 /CNW/ - Westminster Resources Ltd ( "the Company") wishes to announce that it has closed the non-brokered private placement of 10,000,000 shares for net proceeds of $1,000,000 announced in its press release dated October 26, 2012. With the closing of this placement Capstone Mining Corp. now owns 17.27% of the Company's issued and outstanding shares.The shares issued pursuant to the private placement will be legended with a hold period to expire on March 4, 2013. The funds will be used by the Company for working capital purposes.
Westminster and Capstone Mining Corp. are continuing to explore the Cumbral-San Bartolo property whereby Capstone has the right under an Option Agreement to earn a 70% interest by funding a minimum of $9.3 million CDN in exploration by December 31, 2015 (WMR 12-02, April 17, 2012).
