Huakan International Mining Inc. Appoints New Chief Executive Officer
VANCOUVER, Nov. 13, 2013 - Huakan International Mining Inc. (TSX-V:HK) (OTC:MRMZF) (the "Company") is pleased to announce that Mr. Guixin Zhao has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, effective December 1, 2013. Mr. Pingzhi Guo, the current CEO of the Company, will step down as CEO, but will continue to serve as the Chairman of the Company. Mr. Zhao has brought over 30 years of mining and management experience to the Company. He joined Tianjin Huakan Group in 1981 as a geologist and assumed various positions in the geological department including Assistant Engineer and Deputy Chief Engineer. Later in his career, he was involved in management roles in several subsidiaries of Tianjin Huakan Group in China. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Zhao served as the General Manager of Tianjin Hongjian Real Estate Co. Limited, a subsidiary of Tianjin Huakan Group in China.
Mr. Zhao obtained his Bachelor of Science, majoring in Geology, from Changchun University of Science and Technology, China.
Mr. Zhao's appointment is subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
