Tesoro Minerals Corp. Appoints John Gray as Chief Operating Officer

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Jan 14, 2014) - Tesoro Minerals Corp. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:TES) is pleased to announce that it has appointed John Gray as its new Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Gray is a geologist with 20 years of exploration experience working throughout the Americas, Africa and Europe. He has spent nine years leading startup companies in South America, Africa and Europe. Mr. Gray is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Verde Resources Inc., a mineral exploration company focused on copper opportunities in Peru and Chile. Mr. Gray is also the former CEO of African Aura Resources, an iron and gold exploration company with operations in Cameroon and Liberia, previously listed on the TSX-V and AIM.
