MCCALL, IDAHO--(Marketwired - Feb 7, 2014) - With the commencement of the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, Midas Gold Corp. (TSX:MAX)(OTCQX:MDRPF) is pleased to announce its sponsorship of downhill skier and Idaho native, Erik Fisher.

Fisher will be hitting the slopes in the next few days, competing in the men's Downhill Slalom and Super G, as competition in Sochi gets underway.
