Intrepid Mines Limited: Resignation of Director

BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA--(Marketwired - Feb 21, 2014) - Intrepid Mines Ltd. (TSX:IAU)(ASX:IAU) ("Intrepid", the "Company") advise that Mr Adrianto Machribie Reksohadiprodjo will retire from the Board effective 1 March 2014.

Mr Machribie joined the Board in November 2011 as a non-executive Director and from early 2012 provided consulting services to the Company's Indonesian operations.

Commenting on Mr Machribie's resignation, Chairman Mr Ian McMaster stated "Mr Machribie's in depth knowledge and understanding of the Indonesian business and political environment has been invaluable to the Board during the Company's time in Indonesia and particularly during the recent dispute over the ownership of its Indonesian assets.
