Mariana Resources Ltd: TSX Delisting
NORTH SYDNEY, Australia, April 3, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Company announces that, further to the Company's news release dated February 5, 2013 which announced that it was voluntarily delisting from the Toronto Stock Exchange with effect the close of business of on or about, February 12, 2013, it has applied for a decision from the Ontario Securities Commission that it is no longer a reporting issuer in Ontario.
The Company is not a reporting issuer in any other Canadian jurisdiction. If the requested decision is made by the Ontario Securities Commission, the Company will cease being a reporting issuer in any jurisdiction in Canada and, as a result, will no longer be required to file financial statements and other continuous disclosure documents with Canadian securities regulatory authorities.
Notwithstanding a decision that the Company is not a reporting issuer in Canada, the Company will continue to file all financial statements and other continuous disclosure materials required to be filed by it in accordance with applicable securities laws of the United Kingdom and the rules of the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange ("AIM"). All such continuous disclosure documents of the Company are publicly available to all Company securityholders on the Company's website at www.marianaresources.com and the Company's securityholders resident in Canada will continue to receive copies of continuous disclosure documents that are required to be delivered to securityholders in the United Kingdom, in the same manner and at the same time as is required under the applicable securities laws of the United Kingdom and the rules of AIM."
