Golden Band to Extend Suspension Of Mining Operations at La Ronge

SASKATOON, June 30, 2014 /CNW/ - Golden Band Resources Inc. ("Golden Band" or the "Company") (TSX.V-GBN) reports that further to its news release of December 9, 2013 announcing the suspension of mining operations (including its operations at the Roy Lloyd and Golden Heart mines and the Jolu mill, operations will continue to be suspended for an indefinite period of time.

The Company intends to preserve the mining operations in care and maintenance mode while it conducts ongoing assessments of the options to return the mining operations to profitability.

The Company still believes the suspension of operations is the only currently viable option to preserve its limited cash and will continue to apprise its shareholders of important developments.
