Imperial Metals Corporation: Mount Polley Mine Community Update

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Aug 7, 2014) - Imperial Metals Corp. (TSX:III)

Imperial Metals and Mount Polley Mine personnel are working to investigate Monday's breach of the tailings dam and to address and mitigate any impacts to the community and environment.

Our main priority continues to be human and environmental safety.

We will be reaching out to the community in a town hall forum at 6 pm today in Likely, BC. Media who are in the area are welcome to attend. We will be available for live interviews following the meeting. We will also be available for other media interviews later this evening and tomorrow.
