ABM Resources NL (ABU) Board and Key Management Appointments

Perth, Australia - ABM Resources NL (ASX:ABU) ("ABM" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of two new directors - Dr Helen Garnett and Mr Richard Procter. The Company is also pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Craig Dawson to the role of General Manager Operations.

Mr Louis Rozman, who has been holding an interim board position as a nominee of Pacific Road Capital, will step down from the board.


Board Changes

Dr Mike Etheridge, Chairman of the Board commented, "On behalf of my fellow directors, I welcome Helen and Richard to the ABM board. They bring a breadth of expertise and experience in governance, government relations and mine development and operations that is crucial as we transition from explorer to miner. Helen brings a particularly wide range of directorial and management knowledge as well as valuable links in the Northern Territory. Richard contributes both depth and breadth in the full range of mining operations, inparticular the successful development of new and complex projects.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Lou Rozman who has provided important input into technical aspects of our high-grade gold project design and also helped tremendously in seeking and attracting these talented new board-members.


Appointed Non-Executive Director - Dr Helen Garnett PhD, PSM, FAICD, FTSE

Dr Helen Garnett is a resident of the Northern Territory and an accomplished director and leader. Dr Garnett has previously held the roles of Vice Chancellor of Charles Darwin University (2003 to 2008) where she still retains an Emeritus Professorship, and Chief Executive and Director of the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (1993 to 2003). Dr Garnett is currently the Chair of Delta Electricity, a non-executive Director of Carbon Energy Ltd., a non-executive director of Energy Resources Australia (ERA) Ltd, Director of the Australian Centre for Plant Functional Genomics, Director of the Museum and Art Gallery, NT Foundation, and Director of Sugar Research Australia. Dr Garnett is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering.


Appointed Non-Executive Director - Mr Richard Procter BSc (Eng), MIMMM, CEng, MBA

Mr Richard Procter is a mining engineer with 30 years of international experience, encompassing roles in the corporate, operations, contracting and mine development areas. Mr Procter has held senior industry positions that have demonstrated leadership and management of base and precious metal mining companies; development of definitive/bankable feasibility studies and their conversion into mining operations; managing teams undertaking mining asset evaluations and valuations, including technical and operational audits. Mr Procter is a former Executive Director of Linq Resources Fund, former Managing Director of Avocet Gold Ltd, and is currently the Chairman of Millennium Minerals Ltd.


Resigned Non-Executive Director - Mr Louis Rozman

Mr Louis Rozman was appointed to the board of ABM Resources in May, 2014 in an interim position whilst the Company sought new directors. With the new appointments, Mr Rozman is stepping down from the board. The board thanks Mr Rozman for his key contributions to ABM Resources during a key period in the design and development of its Old Pirate gold deposit. ABM will continue to have valuable input from the experienced team at Pacific Road via the Technical Steering Committee which has two nominees from Pacific Road.


Key Management Appointment

Darren Holden, Managing Director commented, "We welcome Craig Dawson to the key management role of General Manager Operations for the Old Pirate High-Grade Gold Project. Craig has considerable hands-on experience in successfully building and commissioning new mines, and we look forward to him applying his craft in the development of the Old Pirate High-Grade Gold Project in the Northern Territory.


Appointed General Manager Operations - Mr Craig Dawson AssocDipMMT, BAppSc, MBA, MAusIMM, GAICD, AWASM

Craig Dawson is a mining engineer with considerable successful mine development experience and expertise spanning three decades. Mr Dawson previously held the role of General Manager Operations with Sandfire Resources, where he led the successful development and commissioning of the DeGrussa Copper Project in Western Australia. He has held senior positions with companies such as Lion Ore / Norilsk Nickel, Northern Mining Ltd., Aditya Birla Minerals Ltd and Noble Mineral Resources. He will remain as a nonexecutive director of Indochine Mining Ltd.
