PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA -- (Marketwired - Nov. 25, 2014) - Paladin Energy Ltd (TSX:PDN) (ASX:PDN) ("Paladin" or the "Company"), advises that, under section 708A(5)(e) of the (Australian) Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (Act), the Company has issued 144,862,817 fully paid ordinary shares (New Shares) to HOPU Clean Energy (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (HOPU) pursuant to the placement as announced on November 24, 2014 (Placement).Further, Paladin advises that:
a. the New Shares have been issued to HOPU under the Placement without disclosure to investors under Part 6D.2 of the Act;
b. as at the date of this notice, Paladin has complied with:
1. the provisions of Chapter 2M as they apply to Paladin; and
2. section 674 of the Act; and
c. as at the date of this notice, there is no excluded information of the type referred to in sections 708A(7) and 708A(8) of the Act.
