Perth, Australia (ABN Newswire) - As highlighted in Rum Jungle Resources' (ASX:RUM) 29 September announcement of the results of the Ammaroo Phosphate Project pre-feasibility study, in order to take one of the development options forward to a bankable feasibility study, it will be necessary to secure funding through the establishment of a joint venture and associated off-take agreements. Through a number of recent global fertiliser industry and agri-business investor soundings, Rum Jungle Resources has confidence that there is sufficient potential interest in both the Ammaroo Phosphate project and its portfolio of sulphate of potash projects that the execution of a formal process to secure the funding necessary to progress development is warranted.

Rum Jungle Resources expects that potential development partners will have differing strategies regarding investment in the phosphate fertiliser space, with interest likely to come from North American, Asian, Middle Eastern and domestic parties. Rum Jungle Resources' portfolio of assets and the extensive pre-feasibility study done on the phosphate project positions the company to capture the significant option value in the business.

Flagstaff Partners will be coordinating a formal process to commence immediately, leveraging its global network of relationships to focus on key industry players and financial investors who understand the longer term strategic value in Rum Jungle Resources' asset position and location vis-à-vis growth markets in the Australasian region.

Rum Jungle Resources has also been invited to participate in an Australian Federal Government led trade delegation participating in an Australia India Business Forum in New Delhi and Mumbai in mid January 2015. This will provide an opportunity to engage directly with Indian fertiliser producers during an event that focuses attention on Australia as an investment destination for Indian companies.

The process of engaging with potential third party partners and securing funding for progressing Rum Jungle Resources' projects is expected to progress well into the first half of 2015.
