Alexandria Minerals Corporation Closes Financing

TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired - Jan. 30, 2015) - Alexandria Minerals Corporation (TSX VENTURE:AZX) (FRANKFURT:A9D) (PINKSHEETS:ALXDF) is pleased to announce that it has completed the closing of the non-brokered private placement (the "Private Placement"), first announced on January 29, 2015.The Private Placement consists of an aggregate of up to 5,000,000 units at a price of 10 cents per unit for total gross proceeds of $500,000. Each unit consists of one common share and one-half of a warrant with each warrant being exercisable at $0.15 for a period of one year from closing.
The proceeds from the sale of the shares will be used for exploration on its Cadillac Break property group in Val d'Or, Québec and general corporate purposes.
There are neither Finder's Fees nor Commissions owing on the private placement, which is subject to certain conditions and the receipt by Alexandria of all necessary regulatory approvals, including the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. All securities issued as part of the private placement will be subject to a hold period of four months from the date of closing.
