Marianna Simeone Appointed to the Board of Directors
ROUYN-NORANDA, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Feb 26, 2015) - Radisson Mining Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RDS) ("Radisson") is pleased to announce the appointment of business manager and broadcast journalist Marianna Simeone to its Board of Directors.
Ms. Simeone is a well-known and respected voice in the Montreal business community. She began her career in international business as executive director of the Montreal Italian Chamber of Commerce. Under her leadership, the local organization grew to be the most performing in the ICC's North American network. For the ICC Marianna founded branch offices in Vancouver, Quebec City and a business promotion office in Milan with the government of Quebec.
From international business development Marianna moved into the world of media, where she made her mark. For close to 15 years, Marianna hosted television and radio shows and delivered thought-provoking commentary on some of Montreal's major media networks, including CBC and Radio-Canada. For her editorial work Marianna was a four-time winner of the RTNDA Award.
For her contribution to Canada-Italy business development, Ms. Simeone was decorated "Knight" by the Republic of Italy. In 2012, she was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. Last fall, the Montreal YWCA granted Ms. Simeone the Woman of Distinction award for her innovative work in communications.
Through her involvement with several prestigious organizations, Ms. Simeone developed an impressive network of contacts. She was a member of the Concordia University Board of Governors, the Montreal Port Authority Board of Directors as well as numerous other prominent boards.
As a Director, Marianna Simeone will receive 200,000 stock options at a price of $0.10.
