Westmoreland Appoints John Schadan as President – Canada Operations
Westmoreland Coal Company (NasdaqGM:WLB) today announced that John Schadan has been promoted from Executive Vice President to President – Canada Operations. Mr. Schadan will continue to report to Keith Alessi, Westmoreland’s Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Alessi held the dual role of Interim President – Canada Operations and Chief Executive Officer since April 2014 when Westmoreland initially acquired the Canadian operations.
