Columbus Gold Raises $2 Million in Amended Private Placement
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - May 11, 2015) -

Columbus Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:CGT)(OTCQX:CBGDF) is pleased to announce that a prominent US resource investor has agreed to acquire an additional 5 million shares of Columbus Gold on the condition that the private placement previously announced on April 9, 2015 be amended, such that it be re-priced to $0.40 per share and that a maximum of 5 million shares be issued. Accordingly, the non-brokered private placement, as amended, will now consist of 5,000,000 common shares, at a price of $0.40 per share, for gross proceeds of $2 million. There are no warrants being issued in the private placement.
The net proceeds of the private placement will be used to advance its Eastside gold project in Nevada and for general working capital purposes.
A finder's fee of 6% in cash will be paid in connection with the private placement; there are no warrants being issued pursuant to the finder's fee. The private placement is subject to approval by the TSX Venture Exchange.
