VANCOUVER, September 15, 2015 - Williams Creek Gold Ltd. (TSXV: WCX) (the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Siegfried Weidner, B.Sc.,P.Geo. as a Director of the Company. Mr. Weidner is a Professional Geologist, registered in the province of British Columbia. He has over 25 years of international experience in mineral exploration including 18 years with Rio Algom Ltd./Billiton/BHP Billiton becoming BHP-Billiton Exploration's Manager of Operations for North America and Europe from 2001 to 2003. Mr. Weidner has been the recipient of several industry awards including, Prospector of the Year (New Brunswick PDAC branch in 1993) and was part of the team receiving the International Bill Dennis ( PDAC ), Prospector of the Year award in 1998 for the discovery of the Spence Porphyry Copper Deposit in Chile. More recently, he was VP Exploration for Geologix Explorations Inc. from May 2006 to May 2013. Mr. Weidner currently serves as President of Marienberg Minerals, a private mineral exploration company and as Vice President, Exploration of Guerrero Ventures Inc.
