Aldever Resources Inc. Completes Drilling and Sampling Program at Key Lake Road Uranium Project

08.10.2015  |  The Newswire
Vancouver, October 8, 2015 - Aldever Resources Inc. (ALD--TSXV) (ALDV--OTCQB) (17G1--Frankfurt) ("Aldever" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has completed the 2015 field program at the Company's Key Lake Road Uranium Project, (the "KLR") in northern Saskatchewan. The 2015 uranium exploration program was successful in identification and sampling of most of the known radioactive occurrences and showings on the KLR Project and was complimented with a short-hole diamond drill program, utilizing man portable drills. The two primary zones of interest were the Moly Trend and DD Zone, both of which were extensively explored in the past by Forum Uranium Corp. ("Forum").

The 18 day program culminated in the collaring of 88 drillholes across the project concentrating on the DD and Moly Trend Zones. In total 47.69 metres of diamond drilling was completed with 103 core samples collected and sent for geochemical analysis. Geophysical highlights from the drill program included a 9,021 counts per second ("cps") reading in drillhole KLR-15-86 from 0.13 to 0.42 m depth; 0.29 m(utilizing a Radiation Solutions Inc. handheld RS-125 scintillometer/spectrometer) from a newly discovered radioactive zone, named the "Highway Zone" proximal to Saskatchewan Highway #914. Additionally, scintillometer readings of up to 4,500 cps were returned from drillcore within the historic DD Zone.

Coincident with the drilling program, a Property-wide geological mapping and sampling program was undertaken, whereby all known radioactive showings were located and, where possible, mapped and sampled. 48 rock samples were collected from this exercise and scintillometer readings from these samples ranged from trace to 14,000 cps at a showing in the DD Zone. 2.3 kilometres of access trail was opened at the Moly and DD Zones, and as such, access to the newly located "Highway Zone" is now possible.

Field observations and scintillometer results have allowed the Company to prioritize its extensive holdings at KLR. Based on the results of the program, the Company has dropped the Molly Zone claims and chosen to concentrate its exploration efforts on the DD Zone, reducing the project size to just over 6,000ha.

Clive Massey, President of Aldever commented on the successful completion of the 2015 KLR field program: "Once again, Aldever has quickly and efficiently executed a value-add exploration program on one of its recently acquired exploration projects. This 2015 program will be applied to the mineral dispositions and will result in the filing of multiple years of assessment work. The Company remains committed to identifying, acquiring and maintaining quality exploration projects which hold an intrinsic value, and will be turned to account in the coming months. The fact that new and interesting radioactive targets were identified from this short, surgical-strike type exploration program, speaks to management's ability to recognize and acquire superior mineral properties that have above average potential to host meaningful mineralization."

The 151 core and rock samples collected from this 2015 KLR exploration program have been sent to Saskatchewan Research Council ("SRC") Geoanalytical Laboratories in Saskatoon, SK for chemical analyzes via SRC's Multi-Element Uranium Exploration ICP-OES package. Results are expected in the near term and will be reported once received.
