Discovery Ventures Inc. Mobilizes Equipment to Start Willa Mine Project
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Dec 1, 2015) - Discovery Ventures Inc. (TSX VENTURE:DVN)(FRANKFURT:0DV)(OTCQX:DTVMF) ("Discovery") is pleased to announce it has commenced mobilization of surface equipment to rebuild the road access to the 1025 and 1125 portals.
This work will be done to meet the Ministry of Mines standards provided in the 10,000 ton bulk sample permit issued in October, 2015. Two excavators, a Cat bulldozer and a rock truck will be used to complete the program.
Apart from the road work which should be completed by mid-January 2016, the Company will be rebuilding the landings for both portals and provide new water discharge lines that will be installed to provide for a proper mine water management program. A new settling pond system that will meet environmental codes will be developed on site. A B.C. based Environmental Consultant Company will be providing services to provide best practices in the waste water management program.
All area around the portal entrances will be cleared to provide a safe area to collar the portals, which is anticipated to commence in approximately two weeks.
