Perth, Australia (FSCwire) - West African Resources Limited (ASX, TSXV: WAF, the “Company”) announces that it has filed a notice with the Australian Securities Exchange (“ASX”) seeking a short halt in trading and advising the ASX that the Company is currently pursuing a capital raise in the context of the current market the actual terms of which have not been determined. Use of funds are to provide for ongoing exploration and development of the Company’s 100% owned Tanlouka Gold Project (“Project”) in Burkina Faso; as well as for general working capital purposes. A further news release will be made in the event that the Company concludes definitive financing terms with one or more investors.
