Macarthur Minerals Transaction Update: Sale of Western Australian Iron Ore Projects

Macarthur Minerals Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:MMS)(OTCQX:MMSDF) (the "Company" or "Macarthur") would like to update shareholders on the progress of completion of the sale of the Company's wholly owned subsidiary that owns the Western Australian iron ore projects.
As previously announced on October 13, 2015, the Company entered into a Share Sale Agreement with GIM Australia Pty Ltd to dispose of all the shares of its wholly owned subsidiary, Macarthur Iron Ore Pty Ltd ("MIO") for A$6 million ("Sale"). MIO owns all of Macarthur's Western Australian iron ore project tenements.
In accordance with the Share Sale Agreement, GIM and the Company has agreed to extend the period for financial close to December 31, 2015.
