WestKam Gold Corp. Submits Bulk Sample Permit Application to BC Ministry of Energy & Mines
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Dec 15, 2015) - WestKam Gold Corp. (TSX VENTURE:WKG) ("WestKam" or the "Company") is pleased to report that it has submitted a Bulk Sample permit application to the BC Ministry of Energy & Mines to remove a bulk sample of up to 10,000 tons of ore from the Bonaparte project located near Kamloops, British Columbia. The submitted application lays out the design and plans to extend the existing decline underground workings to intersect the Crow and Grey Jay vein system within the Discovery Zone, where in 1994 a 3,700 tonne bulk sample was collected from surface, yielding 3,160 ounces of gold.
The underground program is intended to investigate the metallurgical properties of the deposit, as well as the Discovery Zone's complex structural environment.
