Brigadier Gold (BRG) Announces Sale of 33 Claims to a Corporation Controlled by 2 Directors
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Dec 15, 2015) - Brigadier Gold Limited ( BRG) announces that it has agreed to sell a portion of its Hearst Township Claims to Anchor Gold Limited, a corporation controlled by 2 of its directors, Herb Kokotow and Alick Ryder.
The claims consist of 19 patented claims and 14 Licences of occupation, all of which had been written off in the past. The price for the claims was assumption of existing tax accruals of approximately $2,200, assumption of the obligation to reimburse the 2 directors for approximately $30,000 in expenses they incurred on behalf of the company, a gross smelter royalty of 0.01% and 500,000 common shares of Anchor Gold Limited.
Brigadier was not able to fund the ongoing expenses due to weak capital markets for the gold exploration sector.
Brigadier continues to hold 50 claims in Flavelle, Holmes and Alma Townships that are presently in good standing until into 2018, 19 claims in Hearst Township, 7 of which are in good standing until into 2016 and 12 of which are in good standing until 2017, and 4 claims in Whitney Township, 1 of which is in good standing until 2016 and 3 of which are in good standing until 2017.
