Lloyd I. Miller, III acquires common shares of ScoZinc Mining Ltd.

MONTRÉAL, Jan. 14, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - Lloyd I. Miller, III, the manager of LIMFAM LLC ("LIMFAM"), acquired on January 13, 2016, ownership of 155,000 common shares (the "Common Shares") of ScoZinc Mining Ltd. ("ScoZinc") (TSV-SZM) through LIMFAM. The Common Shares were acquired through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange at a price of USD$0.47 per common share or CDN$0.67 per common share (based on the Noon Bank of Canada exchange rate), such acquisition representing approximately 3.93% of the currently issued and outstanding common shares of ScoZinc.As a result of the acquisition of the Common Shares, Mr. Miller, through LIMFAM and a number of trusts, partnerships and other entities, owns or has control or direction over an aggregate of 749,900 common shares of ScoZinc, representing approximately 19.03% of the issued and outstanding common shares.
The Common Shares were acquired for investment purposes. Depending on the evolution of ScoZinc's business, financial condition, the market for ScoZinc's securities, general economic conditions and other factors, Mr. Miller and his joint actors may acquire additional securities of ScoZinc, or sell some or all of the securities they hold, in the open market, by private agreement or otherwise, subject to their availability at attractive prices, market conditions and other relevant factors.
