Melkior Announces Date of Annual Meeting of Shareholders
OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Jan 27, 2016) - Melkior Resources Inc. ("Melkior") (TSX VENTURE:MKR)(OTC PINK:MKRIF)(FRANKFURT:MEK) announces that the annual meeting of shareholders (the "Meeting") will be held at the office of the Corporation at 3208 Richmond Road, Ottawa, Ontario, K2H 5B6, on March 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
For the Meeting, Melkior shareholders are being asked to vote on the following matters:
- To elect four directors for the ensuing year;
- To appoint Smythe CPA as Auditors of the Corporation for the ensuing year and to authorize the Directors to fix their remuneration; and
- To transact such other business as may properly come before the Meeting or any adjournments thereof.
Management has nominated the following four persons as directors of the Corporation: Bruce Deluce, Keith James Deluce, Norman Farrell and Sabino Di Paola.
Mr. Sabino Di Paola currently serves as the CFO of Everton Resources Inc., Melkior Resources Inc., Vanoil Energy Ltd., Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc. and Majescor Resources Inc., publicly listed junior exploration companies with projects in Canada and abroad. He has close to ten years' experience in audit, finance and accounting while working as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers and BDO Canada.
Mr. Keith James Deluce holds bachelor degree of applied science and industrial engineering from the University of Toronto. He has been involved in aviation management for 25 years and is presently a commercial airline pilot for Jazz Aviation LLP. Mr. Deluce has been involved with mining and exploration companies in the Timmins area for over 30 years.
Mr. Bruce Deluce and Mr. Norman Farrell had been directors of the Corporation since 2013 and 1979 respectively.
