Miles Thompson Joins Aurion as Advisor

ST. JOHN'S, NL--(Marketwired - Feb. 15, 2016) -  Aurion Resources Ltd. ("Aurion") (TSX VENTURE:AU) is pleased to report that Miles Thompson has agreed to act as a special advisor to Aurion.

Mr. Thompson is a founder and currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Lara Exploration Ltd., a mineral exploration company working in South America and the founder and Non-Executive Chairman of Reservoir Minerals Inc., a mineral exploration company working mostly in Eastern Europe. Previously he held the role of Manager Business Development with Gold Fields Exploration. Mr. Thompson is a geology graduate of the University of Bristol (UK).

Mr. Thompson has been granted 400,000 stock options at a strike price of $0.10. The options are valid for 5 years and vest immediately.
