Mining Plus Completes Mining Pre-Feasibilitv Study for Pilbara Minerals Limited

Perth, Australia - Mining Plus have recently completed the Mining Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) for Pilbara Minerals Ltd.'s (ASX:PLS) Pilgangoora Lithium-Tantalum project, which is located approximately 120km south of Port Hedland in Western Australia's Pilbara region.

The mining engineering works completed by Mining Plus include: mine planning criteria, pit optimisation, mine design and scheduling, mine infrastructure considerations, JORC ore reserve estimation, cost and revenue modelling for incorporation into the PFS financial model. Mining Plus has also provided geological peer review for Pilbara Mineral's geological consultant.

The Mining PFS completed by Mining Plus includes an initial maiden Ore Reserve for Pilgangoora of 29.5Mt @ 1.31% Li2O,134ppm Ta2O5 and 1.18% Fe2O3 / for a 2Mtpa mining and processing operation with an initial 15-year mine life.

As stated by Pilbara Minerals in their ASX market announcement on the 10th of March, the PFS has been completed to a high quality and standard with the assistance of a group of highly experienced independent consultants including Mining Plus for the mining engineering works, to deliver an extremely robust development with low operating costs.

Further work completed by Mining Plus as part of mining planning optimisation work in the DFS optimises both Indicated and Inferred material as part of a scoping study creating pit inventories totalling 53,9Mt @ 1.29% Li2O, 128ppm Ta2O5 and 1.19 Fe2O3 , providing further potential for future mining and NPV growth for the project.

Mining Plus will continue to provide mining engineering and geology services as a part of a Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) commissioned by Pilbara Minerals which are on track for completion in Q3 2016.

Mining Plus looks forward to continue work with Pilbara Minerals on their exciting project within the growing Lithium-Tantalum region of the Pilbara.
