TORONTO, March 21, 2016 - Tanzanian Royalty Exploration Corp. (TSX:TNX) (NYSE MKT:TRX) (the "Company") announces the voting results from its 2016 annual and special meeting held on March 16, 2016. A total of 51,934,382 common shares were voted representing 48.05% of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company. Shareholders voted in favour of all items of business before the Meeting, including the election of all directors as follows:
