Previous exploration in the area was the subject of a report dated February 24, 2014, titled the The Updated Technical Report on the Vines Lake Property. The report highlights zinc anomalies to the west and south-west of Vines Lake. At that time of the report, due to depressed zinc prices, no further exploration was pursued. With a recovery of zinc prices in recent years, the project is now being reviewed for further investigation.
The Vines Lake Property is located in the Cassiar Gold Camp in the Liard Mining District of northwestern British Columbia. Lomiko Metals Inc. previously held the rights to 3 claims acquired in 2006 totaling 1,209 Ha (2,987 Acres) and has now expanded the claims to 3,281 Ha. The Vines Lake property has year-round paved road access as the property's northern boundary crosses Hwy 37N, seven kilometers south of the unincorporated settlement of Jade City.
