Silver Standard Receives Extension on the Chinchillas Project Option Agreement
VANCOUVER, March 30, 2017 /CNW/ - Silver Standard Resources Inc. (NASDAQ: SSRI) (TSX: SSO) ("Silver Standard") announces that Golden Arrow Resources Corp. (TSX-V: GRG) ("Golden Arrow") and Silver Standard have agreed to extend the period in which we have the right to exercise our option to form a joint venture with Golden Arrow for the development of the Chinchillas project (the "Business Combination Agreement"). This period has been extended to March 31, 2017. The Business Combination Agreement was previously announced in our news release dated October 1, 2015.
