Adelaide - Mithril Resources Ltd. (ASX:MTH) ("Mithril") advises that the Geological Survey of South Australia (GSSA) and Geoscience Australia (GA) have commenced a regional diamond drilling program at Coompana which is located in South Australia's far west (see Figure 1 in the link below).- Mithril and OZ Minerals Ltd. will assess Coompana for nickel - copper deposits

The GSSA/GA-funded drilling forms part of a pre-competitive science data acquisition program and follows the acquisition of high quality aeromagnetic data in 2016 and detailed gravity data in early 2017.
The aim of the program is to provide the mineral exploration industry and research community with new pre-competitive scientific data that better defines the geology and prospectivity of the Coompana region.
Subject to successfully negotiating a Part 9B Agreements with the Coompana Native Title Holders, Mithril and OZ Minerals Ltd. (ASX:OZL) will assess Coompana for magmatic nickel - copper deposits, with OZ Minerals having over 6,000km2 of granted tenements in the area and in which, Mithril has a right to earn a 20% interest.
