Vior Completes an Induced Polarization Geophysical Survey on the Mosseau Property - Ground Follow-Up is Underway
The Company completed a 29-line-kilometer dipole-dipole IP geophysical program over a strike length of six kilometers covering a series of gold-bearing parallel shear zones that run across the entire property along its northwest-southeast axis. Preliminary results delineated at least a dozen IP anomaly axes, some of which extend onto the Morono "M Zone" gold deposit and over known gold showings on the property.
A ground prospecting, mapping and sampling survey has already been undertaken by a field crew to follow up on IP anomalies. The program is well underway. A drilling program is currently being designed to test the depth extensions of the Morono "M Zone" deposit as well as IP anomalies coinciding with gold mineralization associated with shear zones.
The Mosseau project is comprised of 68 claims covering 33 square kilometers. It is considered to be highly prospective due to the presence of an historic mineral resource known as the Morono "M zone", as well as several gold showings and drill intercepts associated with shear zones that can be traced over a strike length of more than 10 kilometers on the project.
The project was acquired by Vior in March 2017 by the map designation of 42 claims, the purchasing of 11 claims and the signing of two option agreements to acquire 100% interest in 15 claims, 9 of which from Les Ressources Tectonic and the other 6 claims from a prospector syndicate.
TMC Geophysics, of Val-d'Or, Quebec, performed the IP survey; all lines were surveyed with a dipole-dipole configuration, at 25-m spacing, n=1 to 8, using a 1.8-kW transmitter and a 10-channel receiver.
