Confederation Minerals Ltd. Appoints interim CEO and President and Cancels Previously Announced Private Placement

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada / TheNewswire / August 29, 2017 - Confederation Minerals Ltd. (TSX-V: CFM) ("Confederation" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of David Velisek as interim President and CEO of the Company. David Velisek will succeed Carl Hering, who has resigned to pursue other professional opportunities.
Mr. Velisek has been a director of the Company since 2015 and will hold office on an interim basis until a successor is appointed.
In addition, the Company has determined that it will cancel the private placement previously announced on July 10th, 2017 and subsequently amended on July 21, 2017.
